Under the Sea Social Event

Join us Thursday evening for a splashin’ good time! Bring the whole family!

Enjoy an open bar while exploring the Confluence and Global River Galleries on the First Floor River Side, move through the Second Floor River Side and Touch Tanks, cross into the Ocean Side and down Shark Canyon and Shark Gallery, through the Bioluminescence Hallway and into The Deep, and return through the Vista before landing in Midway East for a delicious dinner. Throughout the tour, there will be animal care specialists to answer any questions about the Aquarium. Open to all MCDC attendees, exhibitors and their families. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

History & Architecture of Union Station Luncheon

Join Resident Historian, Darlene Menietti, as she presents the history of St. Louis Union Station. Built-in 1894 as the biggest train station in the country, Union Station served as a major transportation hub during World War II, with more than 200,000 passengers a month. While the Station played a big role in transportation, its architectural splendor is like no other in the Midwest. Learn of little hidden gems to look for as you explore this beautiful building during your stay.

And, what did the railroad system have to do with that famous “Dewey Defeats Truman” picture on the back of a railroad car?
