General Information
The Mid-Continent Dental Congress (MCDC) offers two days of CE courses and hands-on workshops presented by 30+ nationally recognized speakers. The convention has averaged a total attendance of 2,300 to 2,550 over the past four years, with an audience consisting of dentists, hygienists, assistants, office staff, dental technicians, dental students, and exhibitor representatives. The Midway Exhibit Hall is open both days and features 100+ exhibit booths.
Continuing Education
The Greater St. Louis Dental Society is an ADA CERP recognized provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. Greater St. Louis Dental Society designates this activity for up to 12 continuing education credits. You can verify your CE here. (available after the 2023 MCDC)
MO CE Reporting Period:
Missouri Dental Board requires dentists to complete 50 CE credits (30 hours/hygienist) over 2 years from December 1, 2022, through November 30, 2024. Only 10 hours (5 hours/hygienist) may be related to practice management. Additional hours (25 hours/dentist or 15 hours/hygienist) may be carried into the next reporting period.
Parking Information/Convention Rates:
There are three available self-parking lots and valet parking off Market Street. To receive discounted event self-parking rates, you will need the pass that was included in your registration packet. If you need additional/replacement passes, please see the registration desk.
Parking and Staying at the Hotel:
Self-parking passes are unnecessary for attendees staying at St. Louis Union Station Hotel. Hotel guests receive discounted self-parking rate automatically, payable during checkout. For in/out privileges during hotel stays, guests will need to visit the hotel front desk for in/out passes.

Doors open at 6:30 pm
Join us for this complimentary party with heavy appetizers, cash bar and live music from Vote for Pedro, who will keep the crowd on their feet, and having fun all night long. Must register by 5:00 pm on Thursday to attend. Open to all registered attendees and up to 4 representatives from exhibiting companies. Exhibit Only badges excluded. Tickets are not available for purchase.
Where to Get Coffee
Starbucks coffee will be available for purchase in the hotel market, which will open on both days at 6:00 am. The Travelin Toms coffee truck will also be onsite by the 20th street entrance from 6:30-9:00 am. We will also have complimentary coffee at our morning breaks, beginning at 9:30 am, and afternoon breaks beginning at 2:30 pm.
Where can I eat lunch during the Mid-Continent?
You will not need to leave St Louis Union Station for lunch. You may visit stlouisunionstation.com/taste for further information. An attendee luncheon is offered, must pre-purchase your ticket during registration, not available for purchase onsite. Two food trucks will also be available on both days on 20th Street.
Dress Code
Dress code is business casual. Please note that temperatures in meeting rooms can vary so dress in layers. Feel free to be comfortable and wear comfortable shoes.

They are disclosed following the instructors’ bios.
