What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation requests must be emailed to gslds@prereg.net and received on or before October 6, 2022. All approved refunds are subject to a $25 processing fee per registrant. No refunds will be made for cancellations requested after October 6, 2022. All approved refunds will be returned in the original form of payment. If registration materials and badges have been received, you must return all materials prior to receiving approved refund to MCDC, 6840 Meadowridge Ct., Alpharetta, GA 30005.
The Greater St. Louis Dental Society Board of Directors and Council on Scientific Sessions will continue to carefully monitor the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation and its potential impact on the Mid-Continent Dental Congress (MCDC). In the event the convention may not be held as scheduled due to a state or local government mandate, all registered attendees will be refunded in full.
Can I register on-site if I didn’t register prior?
Yes! On-site registration on Thursday, October 27, 2022, is from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm and on Friday, October 28, 2022, from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm.
Is it true GSLDS member/Affiliate member dentists receive complimentary registration?
Yes! This is an exclusive membership benefit introduced in 2014.
How do I become a GSLDS member or Affiliate member Dentist?
Visit greaterstlouisdentalsociety.org to learn how to become a member. Become a member by 9/29/2022 and enjoy complimentary registration to attend the Mid-Continent Dental Congress!
Does the Mid-Continent offer a hotel convention room block?
Yes! We encourage attendees to stay and play in luxury! Book your reservation at the low convention rate of $169 plus taxes per night at St. Louis Union Station Hotel, AAA Diamond rated. The deadline for the convention rate is October 6, 2022. Phoned in hotel reservations, use code “GSD.” Visit https://www.mcdcstl.org/hotel-travel/ for hotel information.
Will a meeting app be available?
The MCDC meeting app has it all: course locations and times, speaker info, handouts, CE certificates, exhibitor listing, maps, and more! The meeting app is free and easy to use. It is available 4 weeks prior to MCDC on the app store. Search for “Mid-Continent Dental Congress.”
If I already registered, do I need to visit the registration desk prior to finding my event room?
No. There is no need to visit the registration desk if you received your registration materials in the mail. You may proceed directly to your room listed on the back of your badge.
Where can I find my course rooms when I arrive?
A detailed map of course rooms will be available and handed out onsite.
If someone registered for the meeting and can no longer attend, can you substitute the name and events registered for to another person at no additional fee?
No transfers for name badges or events will be allowed.
Will I receive my registration materials in the mail?
Registrations received online or by mail by 10/17/22 will be mailed. Registrations received after this date will be processed and available for onsite pickup at the registration desk.
I’m a dental student, do I pay a registration fee?
No. Dental Students and Dental Graduate Students are offered complimentary registration. A copy of your 2022 student ID must accompany registrations. Registrations are only accepted by mail or on-site.
What do I do if I lose my badge?
A replacement fee of $10.00 will be charged for lost badges. Badges must be worn at all times. You will not be allowed to enter any event without one; the back of the badge will list all events for which you are registered, and will serve as your ticket to attend event(s).

Where do I park when I arrive to St. Louis Union Station and will there be a fee?
Convention parking rates: $16 all-day self-parking, $25 overnight self-parking and $35 overnight parking.
There are two available self-parking lots (https://www.stlouisaquarium.com/parking-map):
- West Parking Lot: enter from Market Street on 20th. Parking Lot is on the right.
- South Parking Lot: enter from Market Street on 18th Street. Parking lot is on right.
Valet parking rates: 0-3 hours $20, 3-6 hours $28, and over 6 hours $35
- Valet parking is available at the Main Grand Hall entrance, on East-bound Market Street.
Will there be a designated lactation room at the Mid-Continent?
Yes, a lactation room will be available both days at St. Louis Union Station in Zephyr Rocket room located on the second floor.
Can I add events if I already registered?
Yes! Events may be added online by logging in using your account number. On-site, you must visit the registration desk before the event begins.
Can I switch events I registered for onsite?
On-site transfers will only be allowed before an event begins.
Where do I get my handouts?
Printed handouts will not be available on-site. You may download handouts online for your registered events four (4) weeks prior to the convention. All registered attendees will receive an email when the handouts are accessible to download. Please note, that not all events will have a handout available.
How do I receive CE credit for courses I attend?
A 4-digit code will be provided to attendees at the completion of courses. CE verification certificates may be obtained at on-site kiosks, on the meeting app, or online at mcdcstl.org.
Will there be a social event during the Mid-Continent?
Yes! This year will mark the 80th year hosting the Mid-Continent Dental Congress! To celebrate, on Thursday evening we are offering a complimentary social event to all registered attendees (not including Exhibits Only category) and exhibitors. Music by Griffin and the Gargoyles, St. Louis’ premier high-energy party and dance band. The party will be held at St. Louis Union Station and will offer appetizers and beverages. Your convention meeting badge will serve as your ticket to attend.
When can I visit with exhibitors during the Exhibit Hall hours?
The Midway Exhibit Hall will be open Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Friday, October 28, 2022, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. There will be a complimentary attendee happy hour in the hall on Friday from 4:30 – 6:00 pm. In addition, most every course will have a 30-minute mandatory break both mornings and the afternoon on Friday. Complimentary food, coffee, and iced tea will be served during each break.
If I don’t stay in an event I registered for in its entirety, can I receive partial CE credit?
No partial CE is given for an event not fully completed; you will forfeit any CE credit for that event.
Can I bring my spouse or family member if she/he is not in the dental profession?
Yes, we encourage you to do so! Union Station offers many fun, family-friendly activities! Family of registered dentists who are not in the dental field may register at no charge and attend events as their guest. Family must register prior to convention; onsite family registrations are not offered. No CE can be earned in this category.
Is there a dress code?
Business casual; please feel free to be comfortable and wear comfortable shoes. We do recommend you dress in layers as temperatures in meeting rooms can vary.
I don’t need CE and I just want to visit the Exhibit Hall, what can I do?
You may register for Exhibits Only, available only to dentists/staff. Exhibits Only registration is not available on-site so be sure to register prior to the convention date.
Where can I eat lunch during the Mid-Continent?
You will not need to leave St Louis Union Station for lunch. You may visit www.stlouisunionstation.com/taste for further information. An attendee luncheon is offered, must pre-purchase your ticket during registration, not available for purchase onsite. Three food trucks will also be available both days on 20th Street.
