Course Description:

This course is designed for clinicians at any stage of their implant journey. Whether you are just beginning to explore implant surgery or are already placing implants and looking to strengthen your clinical confidence, optimize your workflow, and increase your annual implant caseload, this session will provide valuable guidance. The presentation will address common clinical questions, offer insight into case selection and workflow integration, and share practical strategies to help you perform implants more confidently and consistently. Attendees will also receive an introductory overview of CBCT analysis, along with a focused discussion comparing freehand and guided surgical approaches, highlighting when each method is most effective and how to incorporate both into everyday practice.

• Describe a streamlined implant workflow from diagnosis through restoration that supports efficient integration of implant therapy into everyday practice

About the Speaker:

Dr. Kenneth Troutman, DDS, FAGD, MIIF grew up in Boonville, IN and graduated as Valedictorian of Boonville High School in 1994. He attended the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville and received his B.S. in Biology where he graduated as Magna Cum Laude in 1998. Upon graduation from the University of Southern Indiana, he twice received the award for Excellence in Pre-Dentistry. Dr. Troutman received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis in 2002. In 2008, Dr. Troutman completed a Dental Implant externship at the Midwest Implant Institute (MII) in Ohio. In 2011 he was awarded Fellowship status at MII. After receiving his Doctorate degree, Dr. Troutman was proud to return to his home area and practice dentistry in Huntingburg where he excels in a wide range of General, Cosmetic, Restorative, Oral Surgery and Implant Dentistry procedures. Dr. Troutman is committed to staying on the leading edge of dentistry and dental technology and to providing excellent care to his patients.
