About the Speaker:

In 1999, Ronda joined the United States Air Force, where she discovered her passion for dental assisting. After completing her military training, she honorably served four years in Oral Surgery and General Dentistry, ultimately finishing her service as a prophy tech—the military’s version of a dental hygienist.

After separating from the Air Force, Ronda and her husband spent the next 13 years moving around the country during his continued service. With each new duty station, she had the unique opportunity to work in different dental practices, gathering invaluable pearls from every team she joined. These diverse experiences shaped her into a leading expert on helping dental assistants grow, adapt, and elevate their careers.

Ronda’s passion for dentistry runs deep and spans a wide range of interests, including immediate denture and partial fabrication, CEREC scanning and restoration design, and her work as an Airway Warrior helping children and adults recover from mouth breathing. She believes in the power of exceptional patient education, clinical skill, and continuous learning to become the best possible chairside partner.

Once Ronda mastered the keys to dental assisting success, she joined IgniteDDS as the Chief Igniter for IgniteDA. She believes every dental assistant has the potential to be extraordinary—when they’re equipped with the right tools, support, and guidance.
