Implant Placement 101: Techniques for Placing and Restoring Dental Implants Hands-On Workshop

Participants will review cases to evaluate the BIC – Biologic Implant Complex and place dental implants. Objectives include identify the correct approach and position to place the implant, suture techniques, flap design, recognize vital structures, biologic width and zero bone loss concepts. Additional objectives will be to place cover screws, healing abutments, take analogue impressions, and understand types of provisionals indicated.
About the Speaker:
Lee Fitzgerald DDS is a Diplomate of the ABOI, Fellow of the AAID, Fellow of the ICOI, 1985 DDS Graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry, 2007 Medical College of Georgia Maxi Course Graduate, in 1985 completed an Externship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, completed his undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Austin in 1981. Dr. Fitzgerald is also a 2006 graduate of the Maxi Course in Implant Dentistry from the Medical College of Georgia. He was awarded his Diplomate as a Board Certified Specialist in Dental Implants in 2013. He practices both surgical and prosthetic implant dentistry. Dr. Fitzgerald lectures and mentors dentists in Implant dentistry and is the owner of Forte Dental Implant Center which is a dental office and dentist training center.
