Denials can be one of the most frustrating aspects of managing dental insurance and affects all offices, from Fee-For-Service to In-Network. Our patients have insurance and want access to their reimbursement benefits. A vast majority of these denials are unnecessary and can be prevented on the office’s side to help make the process easier for the office and with better reimbursement for the patient. Over half of the denials in the country are preventable, and a majority of the rest can be fought and won.
This workshop will review the common reasons that claims are denied and show you the tactics involved with preventing denials. Following will be an interactive case study session to see live cases and work through how to evaluate the claim and fight for reimbursement.
